Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge is a 5 Star (Luxury) lodge in the wild of Volcanoes National Park, a home for mountain gorillas in Rwanda, deep in Africa. Our staff can assist in booking gorilla permits at US$750 each and arranging transfers from Kigali International airport to the lodge. We also arrange other tour activities around Volcanoes National park like golden monkey tours, nature walks, caves exploration, a boat ride on Lake Burera, Ruhondo and Kivu, mountain hiking, and many more.

This is the perfect place to stay while on your gorilla safari in Rwanda! It is located 90 minutes drive from Kigali International Airport, and a few minutes walk to the park headquarters at Kinigi. This is where clients are briefed about gorilla tracking activity, and allocated to different gorilla families.
Rwanda has over 10 gorilla groups and among these are; Susa gorilla group, Sabyinyo gorilla group, Group 13 (Aka Agasha group), Hirwa, Karisimbi, Amahoro, Umubano group, Uganda, Kwitonda and Bwenge among others. Those are the gorilla groups available for tracking while on Rwanda gorilla safaris in Africa. Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge is owned by a Community Trust, SACOLA that uses rentals and community fees from the lodge to drive socio-economic and conservation initiatives in the communities adjacent to Volcanoes National Park.
